Sophisticated simplicity
Define your own meaning of a perfect life. Up the hill with the horizon view, the Hua Hin Horizon creates one realm that nestles your bliss of living in the serene surroundings.
Small beach resort with big name Hua Hin partakes of Thailand’s crystalline East Coast on one border. To its west, the pristine verdant hill range forms a mountainous terrain that is steep enough to take a stroll on. Yet it is high enough to award visitors to a pinnacle with the panoramic view of a breathtaking landscape…one that is woven up with the eye-soothing blue sea below and embroidered with the blurry horizon beyond.
Each single second one finds himself standing amid such serene beauty must be a moment the joy of life manifests its meaning. Imagine how wonderful each day will be to wake up to this calming view… to be yourself and let your self denote your surroundings …to live amid the purest of nature and get to share those moments with your loving family.
It is these things that make one feel alive… It is these simple things that move you. Observe the happiness in every living moment, and the time is now. On the foothill set deeper in Hua Hin Soi 88, the Hua Hin Horizon is building a residential realm that rises amid the joint between the downtown and Hua Hin scenic view spot—Hin Lek Fire Mountain.
Set deeper on the side of a road which is 2kms far from Hua Hin 88 entrance, the site could easily be driven past by the unobservant ones. The Hua Hin Horizon’s elusive location is a matter of intention. The project means to create “a safe and private realm” that houses a batch of dream simple residences where sophisticated living is nestled.
If your house is situated on the higher slope, looking out eastward through the windows, your eyes will be courted by the dreamlike view of the horizon where the edge of the clear blue sky meets the rim of the emerald green sea. This magnificent patch of visual exhibit fills the void of the mountainous crescent that embraces the Hua Hin Horizon and the land beyond from behind.
Thanks to the simple and cozy cream-and-brown color scheme which supports any style of decoration, a house can be perfectly turned into a home. A special place that means so much more than just a space to live in. A soulful sanctuary that reflects the way of life led by people who live in it.
Not only in your compound, the definition of living in the realm named Hua Hin Horizon manifests throughout. Pronouncing its work “the resort house community”, the Hua Hin Horizon presents to its residents the traits and atmosphere that transcend those of common house projects.
The clubhouse situated in the center of the site is attended 7am-7pm by a staff who are ever-ready to assist the residents in any ways they may be needed. Facilities featured on the clubhouse include a swimming pool, showers, washrooms, and the high-rise gazebo from which the panoramic view of the mountain range and the horizon can be appreciated in all angles.
Truly caring about the details of the residents’ living quality, the project gives up a sizeable portion of land for the good of communal infrastructures. The wide alleys inside the Hua Hin Horizon allow cars to run on them with ease and may as well make a good path for jogging and cycling. Besides, located at the end of every alley is a turning circle which also makes a visual contribution with multihued blossoms planted on it. Only 40 houses are now on offer in two price ranges and four different types. Tulip at Bt5-7million. Jasmine, Carnation and Catteleya at Bt4-5million.
Houses of every type share the minimal appearance and the simple interior design—the virtually square form, the cream-and-brown color scheme, and the standard hardware.
Every house also has a flowery garden and a parking lot while a swimming pool may be optionally built on the compound.
Nonetheless, each house type has its distinct traits that you may like to consider as reviewed below.
| Tulip/ A-type | |||||||||

| ||||||||
| The distinctions of the top house type lie in the superior location coupled with the privacy concerns. The area preserved for Tulip or A-type houses sprawls over the foothill of Hin Lek Fire Mountain, which is the prime spot of the site. Each of the Tulip houses also has a standalone living room. With the entertainment zone built separately under another roof, the main house is absolutely shielded from noises. | |||||||||
| Jasmine/ B-type | |||||||||

| ||||||||
| Aside from being more spacious than any other house types, the best-selling Jasmine houses attract their future residents with the elegant feel of the multi-level flooring. The utility of the sizeable space on the elevated level also makes as much for Jasmine’s array of highlights. The multi-purpose space may be transformed into a working area, a mini-library, or just a corner to get yourself tucked in a comfy couch. Each of Jasmine houses also has a wide porch that caters to a comfortable chillout on a lazy sunny day | |||||||||
| Carnation/ C-type | |||||||||
![]() |
| ||||||||
| The Carnation houses stand out from houses of other types with the larger proportion taken by the porch. The front porch spanning along the outside of the main hall forms an extended virtually square porch which is bordered on one side by the window-side of one bedroom and on the other by the main hall exterior wall. Allowing chances to appreciate the greenery in two different corners of the compound, Carnation houses definitely are ideal for gardening buffs. | |||||||||
| Catteleya/ D-type | |||||||||

| ||||||||
| The compact Catteleya houses make a great option for couples with modest needs of their residence. The main hall is adjacent to all rooms in the house and the dainty porch allows a close touch to the greenery. | |||||||||
In other words, “First come, first served” is how it works. For example, if you are interested in an area reserved for a Tulip/A-Type house but you find the Carnation/C-type structure more suitable for your needs, you may request to buy a house in such manner.A swimming pool may also be optionally built on the compound.
The Hua Hin Horizon Marketing Director Apisan Dasananjali converses insightfully and profoundly with Hua Hin Online on the project’s concept. Seasoned with life and young at heart as he is, Apisan incorporates the living wisdoms into the soul of the Hua Hin Horizon. The notions he communicates are philosophy-worthy. Apisan also designs the mini-free magazine “Hua Hin Horizon: A Guide for Your Perfect Life” and composes all contents in the edition. Copies may be picked at leading hotels, restaurants and shopping centers.
Apisan: The title of the mini-free magazine states our mission: we are a guide that leads house buyers to a perfect life. The idea as to what a perfect life is, of course, is so abstract and diverse to individuals. Materials may be greatly involved to what is a perfect life to some people but that isn’t our belief.
We believe that a true perfect life presents itself to you when you feel the bliss in every moment you live. Extravagance or voguish stuff doesn’t matter, thus, the simplicity being centered on in designing our houses—simple shape, form, and colors. The happiness can be defined in your own term. It could be such a simple thing as a cool breeze blowing past your face that gives you that warm feeling in your heart.
The bliss doesn’t come from materials. It is simpler than that. Living happily, eating happily, traveling happily, making friends happily, all of these, in a place you feel safe, are enough to make a perfect life. That is our vision. Here on the Hua Hin Horizon, we aim to build a good, peaceful community in the safe surroundings. We don’t mean to sell luxury. We sell the happiness.
HO: Aside from bringing out the value of a simple perfect life, are there any other dimensions to the overall simplicity in the house design?
Apisan: Life is diversity so, the house, one place that displays the way of life led by people who live in it shouldn’t be confined to one particular style. House reflects who you are. The decoration of your house explains your soul. Our houses may be compared to mannequins. It’s like we gave our residents great-shaped models that may fit any outfits of their choice.
HO: The project has a phenomenal location. It actually could have been parceled into much less than 70 houses and sold at much higher prices. Why did the Hua Hin Horizon decide to go about it as is?
Apisan: If we had parceled the land into 20 luxury houses, despite the higher cost per unit, the end income would virtually be the same as what we gain through the way we actually are steering things. Considering that it wouldn’t generate a large income margin, we thought we’d rather parcel the land into such amount that would recruit enough people to form a sizeable community. When the project is complete, I’ll probably be like the mainstay of a cosmopolitan village that is made up by 70 families coming from every part of the world (snickers).
“After visiting Thailand over many years, we decided that we would like to spend our retirement here. We chose Hua Hin because it was quiet, not spoilt by huge high rise buildings and, of course, had beautiful beaches and most importantly the friendly Thai people.
We looked very carefully at where we wanted to live and found the ideal spot at the Hua Hin Horizon. It was just what we were looking for.
We have a beautiful home, with pool and garden that are really superb, and we are surrounded by the hills
What makes it more appealing is that we are only five minutes drive to the shops and the beach, everything to hand and all within a short distance.
We have settled quickly and enjoy living here on the Hua Hin Horizon.”
